Begin the day with a visit to Xi’an’s Ancient City Wall, one of the best-preserved city fortifications in China. Admire the impressive defensive architecture and enjoy panoramic views of the historic city. For a more memorable experience, take an optional cycling ride along the top of the wall, offering a unique perspective on the contrast between traditional landmarks and modern Xi’an.

Continue to the famous Muslim Quarter, a bustling neighborhood filled with traditional streets, local markets, and distinctive Shaanxi cuisine. Wander through the lively lanes, discover regional specialties, and experience the area's rich cultural heritage. Discover the temple grounds, admire traditional halls and courtyards, and learn about the history of Shaolin martial arts and monastic life.

Continue to Songyang Academy, one of the historic Confucian academies associated with the development of traditional Chinese education. Explore its tranquil courtyards, ancient architecture, and centuries-old scholarly heritage. Nearby, visit the historic Songyang Temple Pagoda, an important example of ancient Chinese brick pagoda architecture.
