Depending on your arrival time, take a short visit to Shanghai Railway Station North Square, a bustling transportation hub that offers a glimpse into the city's everyday urban life. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax after your journey, explore the surrounding area, or enjoy Shanghai's local dining and shopping options independently.

Start your day with a Chinese and Western buffet breakfast at the hotel before departing for Suzhou, a historic city celebrated for its classical gardens, elegant waterways, and refined Jiangnan culture. Visit either the Humble Administrator's Garden, a UNESCO-listed classical garden known for its tranquil ponds, graceful pavilions, winding pathways, and carefully designed landscapes, or the Lion Grove Garden, famous for its intricate rockeries, maze-like stone formations, and distinctive architectural charm.

Continue to Hanshan Temple, one of the most renowned Buddhist temples in the Jiangnan region. Famous for its association with the ancient poem “A Night Mooring by Maple Bridge,” the temple offers a peaceful atmosphere, traditional Buddhist architecture, and a fascinating glimpse into China's spiritual and literary heritage.

After exploring Suzhou, travel by private vehicle to the West Scenic Area of Wuzhen, a picturesque water town characterized by stone bridges, traditional wooden houses, narrow lanes, and canals reflecting the charm of old Jiangnan. Enjoy the changing scenery along the way and settle into the slower rhythm of this historic town.

Later, choose between two distinctive Hangzhou experiences. Visit the Hangzhou section of the Grand Canal to appreciate the history of this extraordinary waterway, traditional canal-side neighborhoods, and the role of water transport in regional commerce and cultural exchange. Alternatively, explore Qinghefang Historic Street, where traditional architecture, local snacks, specialty shops, and time-honored businesses create a lively atmosphere that reflects Hangzhou's historic city life.
