Begin your morning with a hotel buffet breakfast before meeting your driver for a transfer to the ferry terminal. From there, take a ferry to Gulangyu Island, a picturesque pedestrian island celebrated for its historic international architecture, elegant gardens, winding lanes, and musical heritage. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Gulangyu offers a fascinating glimpse into the cultural exchanges that shaped Xiamen's history.

Explore the island's celebrated architectural heritage, often associated with the World Architecture Expo, where European-style villas, traditional Chinese elements, and historic residences stand side by side. Continue to Shuzhuang Garden, a beautifully landscaped seaside garden featuring winding paths, pavilions, rockeries, and tranquil ocean views. You may also discover Wudian Traditional Block, known for its preserved Minnan-style buildings, red-brick architecture, and historic lanes, subject to the day's route and available time.

Several of the day's heritage areas can be explored without separate admission tickets, although optional experiences and individual attractions may charge fees. Continue to Shangxia Hang, a historic commercial neighborhood that reflects Fuzhou's development as a trading and port city.
