Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Chengdu-Siguniang Mountain | Pandas and Irrigation

　　Morning departure from Chengdu to visit the Dujiangyan Panda Base,where you can observe lively pandas including overseas returnee pandas.After lunch,explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Dujiangyan Irrigation System to experience 2,300 years of hydraulic wisdom.In the afternoon,take a 3-4 hour drive to Siguniang Mountain and stay at a hotel near the scenic area.
Day 2: Siguniang Mountain | Changping Valley Hiking

　　After breakfast,we embark on a Changping Valley trek starting from a Tibetan temple at the foot of snow-capped peaks.The journey takes us through primeval forests,where visitors can admire waterfalls,glaciers,and alpine flora before reaching the lush grassland of Muluozi(a type of grassland).Surrounded by majestic mountain vistas,the round-trip route spans approximately 22 kilometers and takes 7-8 hours.The trail offers flexible turnback options,making it ideal for first-time hikers.
Day 3: Siguniang Mountain – Chengdu | Shuangqiao Valley

　　Take the direct bus to the Hongshan Terminal at Shuangqiao Valley's highest point,then descend along the valley to admire glaciers,mountain ranges,lakes,yaks,and wild plants.Stop at Mao Bian Ling for a panoramic view of Siguniang Mountain's four peaks,where you might catch the sunrise illuminating the golden landscape.Return to Chengdu via a 4-5 hour afternoon drive,concluding the itinerary.
