Four friends from Canada explored Chengdu through its pandas, traditional crafts, local food, and peaceful mountain scenery. From making incense and paper-cutting to sharing a late-night takeaway arranged by their consultant, the trip was filled with genuine local experiences, plenty of laughter, and unforgettable memories.
A Family Trip to the Land of Pandas and Crystal Lakes
This five day trip to Chengdu and Jiuzhaigou with my wife and ten year old daughter Mia covered the lively Kuanzhaixiangzi Alleys, the Chengdu Panda Base with its adorable pandas, the stunning turquoise lakes and waterfalls of Jiuzhaigou National Park, and the colorful travertine pools of Huanglong Scenic Area. The trip was filled with wonder and family fun, and Mia's love for pandas made it extra special.
