A City to Mountain Girls Trip
This six day trip from Guangzhou to Guizhou with my best friend Lily covered the busy Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, the Gothic Shishi Sacred Heart Cathedral, the Guangdong Museum with its folk art exhibits, the Canton Tower, a Pearl River night cruise, Qianling Mountain Park with its monkeys, the scenic Jiaxiu Pavilion, the spectacular Huangguoshu Waterfall, the karst cave of Loong Palace, and the ancient stone town of Qingyan. I loved the natural landscapes and traditional culture the most, from caves to old towns to local crafts.
From Dim Sum Mornings to Pearl River Nights: Our Guangzhou Journey
A group of international travelers explored Guangzhou through its traditional architecture, Cantonese cuisine, Lingnan culture, and natural landscapes. From dim sum mornings and Pearl River nights to lion dance performances and mountain adventures, the journey revealed a side of Guangzhou that was both modern and deeply connected to its traditions.
