Warriors, Monks, and Stone Buddhas
This five day trip to Xi'an and Luoyang with my college roommate Alex covered the Terracotta Warriors at Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum, the Ancient City Wall and Muslim Quarter in Xi'an, the Shaolin Temple and Songyang Temple Pagoda near Luoyang, and the Longmen Grottoes with their thousands of Buddha carvings. I loved the ancient history and the craftsmanship behind all these sites.
The China Trip That Gave Me Two Completely Different Worlds
This graduation trip turned out to be so much better than I expected. From the incredible mountains of Zhangjiajie to the history of Xi'an and Beijing, every stop felt unique. Traveling with a guide made everything easy, so we could simply enjoy the journey. China left me with unforgettable memories and a long list of places I want to visit again.
